3. Bookings and Payments
When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate information and valid payment details. The Play Nook reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at its discretion.
4. Supervision and Participation
The Play Nook is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable play environment. However, active play carries inherent risk. A parent or legal guardian must supervise children at all times. Guests are expected to follow posted rules and staff instructions. Participation in activities is voluntary.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Maryland law, The Play Nook is not responsible for injuries related to ordinary play, misuse of equipment, loss of personal belongings, or indirect or consequential damages.
6. Third-Party Links
This Site may include links to other websites. The Play Nook is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
7. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of any revisions.

PRIVACY POLICY

The Play Nook values your privacy and takes reasonable steps to protect personal information.

Information is used to process bookings, communicate with families, send newsletters if you opt in, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information.

PARTY BOOKING POLICY
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a party date. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of the party. If full payment is not received, the party may be canceled.
Party dates may be rescheduled with advance notice and subject to availability. Deposits remain non-refundable but may be applied to a new date if approved.
Deposits are non-refundable. No-shows forfeit all payments made.
OPEN PLAY AND MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY
Open play reservations may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice and are subject to availability. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be accommodated.
Open play bookings are non-refundable. With proper notice, a reservation may be moved to another date if space allows.
No-shows are non-refundable and may not be credited.
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. By purchasing a membership, you agree to the selected term. Unused visits do not have cash value and are not refundable.
The Play Nook may adjust membership benefits, hours, or policies with reasonable notice.
If the facility must close due to circumstances beyond our control, reasonable extensions may be offered at our discretion.
The Play Nook may cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, safety concerns, weather, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a credit or alternate date may be offered.

WAIVER AND RELEASE
By entering The Play Nook, you acknowledge that children’s play involves inherent risk. You accept responsibility for supervising your child and agree to follow facility rules and staff direction. You release The Play Nook from claims related to ordinary play activities. If booking for a child, you confirm you are the child’s parent or legal guardian.
PHOTO AND MEDIA CONSENT
The Play Nook may occasionally photograph or record activities within the facility for marketing purposes. By entering, you consent to possible inclusion in social media, website content, and promotional materials. If you do not want your child photographed, please notify staff in writing.
